Every year, the Super Bowl redefines the rules of TV and social media advertising. This year was no exception, as Super Bowl LIX had a strong influence and impressive TV ratings worldwide.
Rocket Commercial
As I mentioned at the beginning of this article, one commercial stuck in my mind and drove me crazy: the Rocket.com ad about the American Dream!
Rocket.com is a fintech company founded in 1985, specializing in mortgages, real estate, and personal finance services.
During Super Bowl LIX, Rocket.com launched its “Own the Dream” commercial in the second quarter of the game.
This commercial highlights the most important dream for Americans: the possibility of owning a home! The 60-second video focuses on the meaning of home and the emotions people feel when they return after a long day at work, a trip, or any other journey.
Rocket.com didn’t just focus on the visuals but also paid special attention to the right music. They chose a reimagined version of John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” which immediately captures your attention.
The cherry on top? At the end of the commercial, the entire stadium (65,000 people) sang along to this iconic American song, creating a truly unforgettable moment.
